Beef Stew That Cooks While You Drive

Ingredients (Fuel-Stop Only)
☐ 1½–2 lbs beef(stew meat or cubed chuck)
☐ 2 cans carrots & peas (drained)
☐ 2 packets McCormick® Beef Stew Seasoning
☐ 3–4 cups water (enough to just cover meat)
Equipment Needed
✔ Small crock pot / slow cooker (2–4 qt)
✔ Truck power inverter or built-in outlet
✔ Can opener
✔ Spoon
Prep (5 Minutes Before You Drive)
Drain canned carrots & peas
Add beef to the crock pot
Add carrots & peas on top
Sprinkle both McCormick Beef Stew seasoning packets evenly
Pour in water until meat is just covered
Give it one quick stir
Cooking Directions (Drive-Time Friendly)
While Driving
Set crock pot to LOW
Cook 6–8 hours
❌ Do not stir while driving
After Parking
Open lid carefully
Stir well
Let sit 5 minutes to thicken
Adjust as needed:
Too thick → add a splash of water
Too thin → leave uncovered 10 minutes
Serving & Storage
Makes 3–5 servings
Store leftovers in sealed containers
Reheats easily in microwave or crock pot
